Mr. Evans, a personal student of Tuhon Ray Dionaldo, holds the FCS rank of Lakan Guro. He also holds the rank of Lakan Tatlo(3rd Dan) in Filipino Combatives; Mano Y Mano from Master Lyndon Johnson; and
Lakan Dalawa (2nd Dan) in Guro W. Hock Hochheim's Pacific Archipelago Combatives (PAC) and Filipino Combatives (Master Lyndon Johnson).

Guro Evans also holds black belts in Grand Master Rick Ward’s Sunburst Natural Fist System Sil-Lum Kung-fu and Grand Master Remy A. Presas’ Modern Arnis (IMAF, Inc) under Guro/Sifu David Ng.

Mr. Evans is a member of the International Kung-Fu Arnis Association, founded by Grand Master, Rick Ward; a member of the Cloud Forest Association, founded by Grand Master David Kash; and a member of the International Modern Arnis Federation, founded by the late Grand Master Remy A Presas.  He holds B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Economics from North Carolina A. and T.  State University.
